Job summary

Eataly North America in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Meat & Cheese Associate for the Eataly West Palm Beach store. This full-time role supports the cheese department, helps guests with selections, weighs and labels products, and maintains displays with FIFO standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, cleaning, and collaborating with Store Operations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work weekends, and operate scales, packaging machinery, and a cash register.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of cheese is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Weighs, labels and packages products and completes food preparation in a timely manner.
• Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately per pricing menu, and informs management when supplies are low.
• Merchandises displays attractively and rotates products per FIFO standards.
• Cleans work station thoroughly and performs other duties as required.

At Eataly, this role is referred to as a Salumi and Formaggi Artisan. Eataly’s cheese department is home to 500+ of the highest quality cheeses specially sourced from Italy, internationally and locally. Many of the cheeses are entirely exclusive to Eataly. A Salumi and Formaggi Artisan prepares, packages, receives and stocks product. A Salumi and Formaggi Artisan has passion for cheese and the ability to share that passion with Eataly’s guests. Reports to the Store Operations Manager.

• Assists guests with cheese and meat selection and shares knowledge of products

• Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu, and promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low
• Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Cleans work station thoroughly
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
