Qualifications

• Retail meat category experience required; degree not required.
• 3+ years marketing, promoting, merchandising or selling meat products to retail grocery stores and wholesalers.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store visits to support meat sales growth and provide guidance.
• Analyze departmental financials, operations, and competitor strategies; provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop and implement meat merchandising plans, including allocation programs and plan-o-grams.
• Assist with weekly ad planning by coordinating with vendors, department managers, and buyers.
• Monitor inventory, quality control, and warehouse program compliance.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, sanitation standards, and federal/state regulations (FDA).
• Utilize technology and the Flawless Execution method to track and report results.
