Joseph’s Classic Market in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Associate in the Meat department. You will support butchers, help customers select quality cuts, and keep display cases fresh and inviting.

This full-time role provides hands-on training in meat preparation, product knowledge, and customer service excellence. As a Meat Associate, you will gain experience with quality standards, inventory rotation, and custom orders while working in a team-driven, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior meat, grocery, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• A passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions.
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks.
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness.
• Package, label, and price self-service items accurately.
• Cut and prepare meat products to Joseph’s specifications.
• Take and fulfill custom and special orders for customers.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and prep surfaces consistently.
• Operate and maintain knives, scales, band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, and other Meat equipment.
