Job summary

Joseph’s Classic Market in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Meat Associate to join our team. You will support our Butchers, help customers find the right cuts, and ensure cases stay fresh and inviting.

Responsibilities include providing excellent service, rotating stock, labeling items, and assisting with custom orders. Prior meat, grocery, or food service experience is preferred, and 18+ age is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior meat, grocery, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation.
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• A passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
• Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
• Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
• Package, label, and price self-service items accurately
• Cut and prepare meat products to Joseph’s specifications
• Take and fulfill custom and special orders for customers
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and prep surfaces consistently
• Operate and maintain knives, scales, band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, and other Meat equipment
• Assist with other tasks as assigned
