Magnit is seeking a Measurement Systems Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software for industrial measurement and inspection systems used in Corning’s manufacturing environments. The role emphasizes C#/.NET development, hardware integration, and robust production-ready software for imaging, motion, and data handling.

The candidate should be hands-on, collaborative, and able to work with imaging hardware and machine vision tools.

Competenze

• Experience with C#/.NET in production or industrial settings.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot distributed or multi-process software.
• Familiar with publish/subscribe messaging and message queues.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and build/release workflows.
• Experience deploying and maintaining software in manufacturing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.
• Interest in AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve development workflows.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for industrial measurement and machine vision systems using C#/.NET.
• Support software communication, coordination, configuration, and data handling across distributed applications.
• Support transfer of technology from development to manufacturing via build, release, deployment and integration.
• Evaluate and apply AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve workflows and code quality.
• Contribute to best practices for incorporating AI tools into development activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Train engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel on deployed systems.
• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting of software and integrated measurement systems.
