Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in gas and/or liquid measurement design.
• Experience designing pipeline measurement and metering facilities.
• Strong knowledge of equipment sizing and pressure control systems.
• Experience with measurement technologies such as orifice, turbine, positive displacement, rotary, and ultrasonic meters.
• Ability to read, develop, and review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Working knowledge of DOT, ASME, AGA, API, and GPA requirements and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design new and upgraded natural gas and liquid measurement facilities from initial scope through commissioning.
• Perform engineering calculations and size/select meters, piping, control valves, overpressure protection devices, filtration equipment, heaters, and related systems.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, bills of material, calculations, and technical reports.
• Review P&IDs and mechanical drawings for accuracy, functionality, and constructability.
• Support field teams with equipment troubleshooting, commissioning, and facility-related technical issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, procurement, operations, and field personnel throughout project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and engineering practices.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of technical standards and engineering procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers as needed.

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for developing practical, reliable engineering solutions for new facilities and upgrades, with involvement from initial project scope and design through field installation and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline measurement, metering equipment, pressure control systems, and facility design, along with the ability to work independently and

collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, develop, and review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Working knowledge of applicable DOT, ASME, AGA, API, and GPA requirements and standards.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and coordinate across engineering and field teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel approximately 25%.
