Job summary

Danville Services in Layton, UT is seeking Direct Support Staff to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, meaningful lives in their own homes and day programs. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, build relationships, and collaborate with a caring team.

Paid training, flexible full-time or part-time shifts, and a $250 sign-on bonus offered. No prior experience required; all training provided.

Qualifications

• Patience and understanding are essential when working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• No prior experience required; paid training provided.
• Background check must be passable.
• Experience in group homes or long-term care is a plus.
• Basic first aid knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as hygiene, meals, and medication management.
• Able to pass a background check and maintain safety.
• Provide compassionate care and support in a group home setting.
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and foster positive relationships with residents and families.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care.
