Job summary

Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is seeking a direct care supervisor to oversee residents in the residential program and coordinate meaningful day activities. The role ensures safety, documentation, and adherence to schedules, while promoting social and recreational participation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct care coverage and supervision in the residential program.
• Plan meaningful day activities and ensure daily planning and relaxation meetings occur.
• Ensure documentation is completed Mon–Fri from 9 AM to 3 PM.
• Maintain sufficient copies and purge records every three months.
• Develop individualized meaningful day schedules for all individuals.
• Ensure daily schedules are followed by staff and updated as needed.
• Review schedules for accuracy and update as required.
• Ensure menus are completed, EO509 compliant, and posted/ filed.
• Order supplies and pursue new activities to keep schedules fresh.
• Provide staff training on meaningful day topics at program meetings.
• Support vocational development and job procurement when possible.
• Involve individuals in social/recreational activities and community integration.
• Facilitate functional skill development and ADLs; ensure safety and supervision.
• Provide transportation to appointments or social activities and document progress.
