Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll help with daily living tasks, encourage participation in activities, and foster independence while building meaningful relationships with participants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and independent living goals.
• Assist with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals as needed.
