Courts Plus Community Fitness in Hankinson, ND seeks a kitchen assistant to prepare and serve the daily noon meal according to the menu plan, in a timely manner, and to maintain a clean kitchen and serving area per health standards.

Responsibilities include portioning meals, packaging for meals on wheels and carry-out, supervising volunteers, ordering supplies, and reviewing monthly menus to meet USDA and Aging Services guidelines, with supervision.

Competenze

• Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Prepare and serve the daily noon meal according to the menu plan and package meals for meals on wheels and carry out meals, all in a timely matter.
• Cleanup of meal preparation and serving area according to health standards, follow cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment.
• Assist at other locations as needed.
• Supervision of volunteers and scheduling meals on wheels volunteers.
• Order food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory.
• Review monthly menu to meet USDA and Aging Services guidelines with supervisor.
• Assist with registration for congregate and carry out meals.
• Assist with annual assessments for congregate and carry out meals.
• Complete daily receipting of meal program income and prepare deposits.
• Maintain a safe work environment and notify supervisors of hazards.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
