Valley Senior Services is hiring a kitchen aide at our Hankinson location. The role focuses on preparing and serving the daily noon meal, packaging meals for meals on wheels, and carrying out meals in a timely manner.

Candidates should have experience in food service and a valid driver’s license. The position emphasizes cleaning, safety, and following USDA nutrition guidelines, with opportunities to assist at other locations as needed.

Competenze

• Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Prepare and serve the daily noon meal according to the menu plan and package meals for meals on wheels and carry out meals.
• Cleanup of meal preparation and serving area and clean according to health standards; follow a monthly, weekly, and daily cleaning schedule on kitchen equipment.
• Assist at other locations as needed; supervise volunteers and schedule meals on wheels volunteers.
• Order food and kitchen supplies; maintain inventory of all ordered items.
• Review monthly menu according to USDA and Aging Services guidelines in collaboration with supervisor; ensure daily meals meet nutritional guidelines.
