Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Meal Relief Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The role supports maternal-child units by relieving other licensed nurses during breaks, applying the nursing process and delivering safe patient care.

Candidates must hold a California RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and have at least one year of acute care maternity experience; national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license required
• Current BCLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• National RN Certification preferred
• Current NRP certification required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience in Maternal Child Health

Responsibilities

• Relieve other licensed nurses during break/meal periods
• Deliver skilled, high-quality nursing care following the nursing process
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Apply nursing judgment and adhere to standards of nursing practice and care
