Job summary

Centers for Independence in Milwaukee delivers meals and supplies via MCFI Food Service vehicles, maintaining courteous service and efficient operations on each route. You will assist with meals, ensure deliveries are signed for, and help with daily sanitation and vehicle upkeep.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a Wisconsin license with a good driving record, and can complete required trainings including Route Boss and ServSafe. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Wisconsin driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Pass pre-employment screening and required trainings.
• Defensive driving and Route Boss GPS training required within 90 days.
• ServSafe Manager certification required for Driver 2 position.

Responsibilities

• Operate Food Service vehicle on routes and per supervisor instructions.
• Comply with driver records and route tracking using Route Boss.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist with meals as needed.
• Deliver all items on production sheet and sign for delivery.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and upkeep sanitation of vehicles.
• Clean vehicles weekly and maintain dock, production, and service areas.
• Participate in end-of-day cleanup and sanitize equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and uniform.
• Promote food safety and work as part of the Food Service team.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and attend safety trainings.
