Job summary

CBS Food Program is seeking a reliable Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery and pickup of meals and program supplies to 20+ sites across our multi-county service area. You will maintain vehicle cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and document deliveries with signatures.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading, verifying counts, keeping logs, and coordinating with site staff. Must lift 40–50 lbs, pass background checks, and have a valid license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (PA or equivalent) and non-CDL for typical delivery vehicle.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in past 3–5 years.
• Ability to lift, carry, and stack food boxes safely (up to 40–50 lbs).
• Proof of automobile insurance and ability to pass background check.
• Excellent time management and route planning.
• Professional communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and supplies to 20+ sites per route.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload items safely and maintain food safety standards.
• Verify deliveries with manifests and counts.
• Maintain legible delivery logs and obtain signatures.
• Communicate professionally with site staff.
