Job summary

Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of prepacked meals to customers. You will load, transport, and unload meals from cold storage, using GPS routing and a company app to log deliveries.

You’ll interact with clients at doorsteps and by phone to resolve issues while upholding sanitation standards. The role requires an 18+ year-old driver with a clean DMV record, a valid license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking abilities.
• Able to operate a smartphone and use GPS apps.
• Basic math skills for payments and deliveries.
• Ability to drive in various weather/traffic conditions.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicle and obey traffic laws at all times.
• Load meals into company vehicle at designated cold storage facility.
• Deliver meals to clients, often into clients' homes.
• Make phone calls to clients when delivery issues arise.
• Accurately record deliveries on MMHD delivery app.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients at all times.
• Report any vehicle/equipment issues promptly to supervisor.
