Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressively increasing experience in Food Services program operations.
• Strong communication skills in multiple settings and the ability to be an engaging change agent and culture creator.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision making.
• Collaborative management style with experience working with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgment and discipline.
• Proficiency with a personal computer and district software.
• Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations for meal applications and claims.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data flow between Food Services and SIS departments related to meal benefits.
• Oversee temporary data entry clerks in processing meal benefits.
• Communicate with cafeteria managers and school administration about meal benefit status.
• Manage meal benefit verification to comply with federal/state rules.
• Participate in compliance reviews of meal benefit processes.
• Train cafeteria managers on meal benefit processes.
• Handle timekeeping and supplemental payroll for Food Services.
• Prepare and file monthly claims for reimbursement of meals.
