Job summary

Meadows of Napa Valley seeks a dedicated Driver to serve residents and guests. You will operate the community bus and other vehicles, assist with boarding including wheelchairs, and help maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness. This is a hands-on, customer-service role in a nonprofit senior living campus located in Napa Valley.

You will report to the Transportation Supervisor and follow safety procedures. Requirements include at least 1 year driving experience, a valid driver's license, and

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience driving cars or buses or transportation services.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet PRS driver guidelines.
• CDL class A/B/C and DOT medical certificate preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide driving services to residents and guests, including bus and other vehicles.

• Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, cleanliness, and stock emergency supplies.

What you’ll be doing

You will provide driving services to residents and guests of the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service model. Our Driver’s (CDL) Drive the community passenger bus and other vehicles for resident appointments, outings, and events; assist with boarding, including wheelchairs and walkers. Conduct vehicle inspections, perform minor maintenance, maintain cleanliness, and ensure emergency supplies are stocked. Follow safety and emergency procedures, operate lift equipment safely, and report any vehicle issues promptly to your manager. Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 / hr DOE

About you

Minimum of 1 year's experience in driving cars and/or buses, transportation services, or a related field. Valid driver’s license and meet Pacific Retirement Services' (PRS’s) Employment Driver Guidelines. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class A, B, or C and Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively.
