Job summary

MAP Automotive is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems. You will perform repairs and tests, communicating with service advisors to ensure timely and accurate estimates.

The role offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned dealership.

Qualifications

• ASE/State certifications are ideal but not required.
• Communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Time management is important to manage one’s own time and others’ effectively.
• Basic computer skills are needed to navigate dealership systems.
• Clean driving record is preferred for test drives and fleet use.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
