Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Manufacturing Ops to optimize area performance, shorten cycle times, and collaborate with shift operations and engineering teams. You will drive safety, quality improvements, and data-driven problem solving across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities include leading continuous improvement projects using Smart Manufacturing tools, coordinating with operators and equipment owners, and developing best-known methods to minimize

Qualifications

• Intermediate PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Advanced understanding of area process and equipment.
• Advanced understanding of area process quality control systems (Qual System, SPACE, Targeting).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to organize tasks and projects.
• Strong partnering and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of Fab process areas including area processing equipment.
• Strong understanding of SPC principles.
• Strong understanding of the use and risks of GeRM.
• Proven ability to communicate and present effectively.
• Experienced in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety and quality adherence with audits and safety training.
• Coordinates with shift leaders to align daily priorities and KPIs.
• Drives continuous improvement projects within scope and schedule.
• Develops automated solutions using Smart Manufacturing tools (CAF, UiPath, AMI and ARM).
• Uses data analysis and space-related data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Supports area performance analysis and troubleshooting of complex process issues.
