Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Manufacturing Ops to improve safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts. You will lead improvement projects, develop BKMs, and partner with MDE/ODE teams to optimize tool and process setups.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, predictive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to meet KPI targets and drive Smart Manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Intermediate PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced understanding of area process and equipment
• Advanced understanding of area process quality control systems (Qual System, SPACE, Targeting)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to organize tasks
• Strong partnering and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Fab processing equipment and GeRM risk concepts
• Experience with data extraction, analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

• Leads continuous improvement projects and coordinates activities to meet scope and schedule
• Collaborates with shift leaders and stakeholders to optimize KPI performance
• Develops Best Known Methods (BKMs) across shifts and improves tool/setup processes
• Analyzes data and uses AI concepts to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Supports automation initiatives using Smart Manufacturing tools (CAF, UiPath, AMI, ARM)
