Job summary

Alliance For Children in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an MDT Coordinator to provide MDT case coordination and facilitate services for children and families affected by abuse, neglect, or violent crimes.

The role requires some college, 2 years of experience with at‑risk families, strong reading and evaluative skills, organization, confidentiality, and reliable attendance; you will collaborate with agencies and maintain case data while supporting a positive mission.

  • Able to be organized, detail-oriented, and self-prioritize.
  • Able to evaluate case information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
  • Must pass criminal and civil background checks.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Alliance For Children.

Responsibilities

  • Assess referrals for appropriate cases recommended for MDT services throughout the service area.
  • Review, screen and act on Statewide Intake Reports and shared law enforcement reports.
  • Improve coordination of investigative activities and provision of services for appropriate cases.
  • Facilitate generation of reports as needed.
  • On-call coordination of CST cases.
  • Maintain case related data and documentation.
  • Expedite scheduling of forensic interviews and initiation of joint investigations.
  • Provide encouragement and support to MDT process.
  • Coordinate team appreciation events and projects.
  • Attend MDT case staffing meetings when appropriate.

Full Time position available with Alliance For Children for a MDTCoordinator. The Team Relations Coordinator will provide MDT case coordination to facilitate services for the benefit of children and families impacted by abuse, neglect or violent crimes.

Job Duties/Essential Functions :
  • Assess referrals for appropriate cases recommended for MDT services (as per MDTProtocol case criteria) throughout the official service area ofMDT/CAC.
  • Review, screen and, when appropriate, act on Statewide IntakeReports and shared law enforcement offense reports.
  • Improve coordination of investigative activities and provision of services for appropriate cases (per MDT Protocolcase criteria) throughout official service area toMDT/CAC.
  • Facilitate generation of CPI/CCL/APS/law enforcement reports asneeded.
  • On call coordination of CSTcases.
  • Maintain case related data.
  • Expedite the scheduling of forensic interviews and initiation of jointinvestigations.
  • Provide encouragement and support to MDTprocess.
  • Coordinate, organize, plan, facilitate and participate in team appreciation events and projects.
  • Meet reporting deadlines as needed for Team RelationsProgram.
  • Attend MDT case staffingmeetings when appropriate.
  • Participate in one fundraising or special service event per year
  • Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor, Director of Training and Team Relations, Chief Program Officer or Chief Executive Officer.

Able to operate a telephone and computer. Moderate independent travel by private auto required.
