Assistant Director of Client Services

Salary starting at $75,000. Salary is based on experience.

The Assistant Director of Client Services provides strategic, clinically informed, and operational leadership for the Family Advocacy and Comprehensive Case Management (CCM) programs. This role ensures consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed services for children and caregivers from initial engagement through long-term stabilization.

This position oversees staff supervision, program implementation, tiered case management integrity, and service delivery outcomes. The Assistant Director ensures that family engagement, protective capacity, abuse dynamics, and risk-informed decision-making guide all services.

Essential Functions:

Staff Supervision and Development:

  • Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and evaluation of Comprehensive Case Managers and Family Advocacy Interns.
  • Conduct regular individual supervision and team meetings focused on case review, risk assessment, and service quality.
  • Support staff development in:
    • Caregiver engagement
    • Stabilization planning
    • Documentation standards
  • Establish clear expectations and ensure accountability for performance, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of staff and interns.
  • Address performance concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Program Leadership:

  • Provide oversight of Family Advocacy and CCM programming to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure service delivery reflects trauma-informed care, abuse dynamics, and risk-informed decision-making.
  • Oversee:
    • Family Service Plans (FSPs)
    • Tiered case management model
    • Therapy waitlist stabilization
    • Family support meetings for complex cases
  • Serve as escalation point for high-risk cases.
  • Monitor caseloads, outcomes, and service delivery trends; adjust as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Services to ensure appropriate triage and coordination of care.
  • Maintain fidelity to program structure and address service drift.

Program Operations:

  • Oversee delivery of case management services, including:
    • Structured follow-ups
    • Stabilization support
    • Psychoeducation groups
    • Court support services
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with agency policies.
  • Oversee trauma and suicide risk assessment processes.
  • Ensure appropriate service tier classification and adjustments.
  • Support coordination of direct service programs and Rainbow Room operations as needed.

Collaboration and Systems Coordination:

  • Maintain strong relationships with MDT partners.
  • Participate in MDT meetings and case coordination.
  • Support cross-department collaboration within CACNT.
  • Assist in strengthening community partnerships and referral networks

General:

  • Maintain professional licenses in good standing and adhere to all ethical standards of practice.
  • Participate in agency initiatives and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Location

Full-time position. Typical hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility based on operational needs. This position is located in the Lewisville office and will be required to travel to all offices (Lewisville, TX, Denton, TX and Bridgeport, Texas).

Education and Training

Bachelor\'s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field

Master\'s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred

Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) license preferred

Experience

  • 5 years professional experience in services for children and families affected by trauma.
  • 2 years experience supervising staff and/or interns.
  • Thorough knowledge of child sexual/physical abuse dynamics.
  • Knowledge of law enforcement, CPS, DA’s Office.
  • Experience in court testimony preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
