Qualifications

  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Receive referrals from partner agencies and conduct intake assessments.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual intake activity reports.
  • Ensure MDT staffings during case review meetings.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate services.
  • Enter data into the case management system and maintain records.
  • Lead MDT meetings with law enforcement, prosecutors, medical, and mental health staff.
  • Maintain MDT MOUs and confidentiality forms.

Position: Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator

Reports to: Associate Vice President, Behavioral Health Programs

The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator/Intake Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the MDT response to investigations involving child abuse allegations in Washington County. This role designs and implements strategies and procedures that strengthen joint investigations, improve communication among team members, and enhance the collaborative approach at all stages of child abuse through Delta Health Alliance Children’s Advocacy Center and its MDT.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field with a minimum of two years of experience working with child abuse victims (preferred).
  • Knowledge of child abuse dynamics and child development, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates discretion, maturity, integrity and compassion in handling sensitive issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds; exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer and database skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must havea valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receives referrals from partner agencies and other referral sources, completing intake assessments and obtaining necessary background information.
  • Produces monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track intake activity and outcomes.
  • Ensures that all cases meeting MDT protocol are appropriately staffed during case review meetings.
  • Schedules appointments and coordinates services.
  • Assists staff with case management and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Enters data into the case management system (Collaborate).
  • Maintains current records on each child and updates information shared among MDT members.
  • Documents follow-up services for clients served as related to criminal case disposition.
  • Facilitates and leads all facets of the MDT, including law enforcement personnel, case workers, prosecutors, medical providers, and mental health professionals, by organizing and coordinating meetings, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Coordinates quarterly meetings with the MDT Leadership Team to update protocols and strengthen communication among team members.
  • Participates in case staffing, individual and group staffing, and case reviews, including proper documentation of those reviews.
  • Maintains MDT Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement, working protocols, and confidentiality forms; ensures timely review, revision, and execution.
  • Establishes and maintains respectful communications and strong relationships with all partner agency representatives.
  • Assesses and addresses ongoing training needs for MDT members.
  • Develops a working knowledge of all CAC positions and services to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Participates in pre- and post-forensic interview meetings.
  • Attends trainings as directed by the CAC Director.
  • Attends peer review trainings as needed.
  • Works in a professional and respectful manner with staff and team members.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
