Smith Mountain Lake Health & Rehab Center is hiring a compassionate registered nurse for our 90-bed skilled nursing facility in the Smith Mountain Lake community. You will perform the RAI process and deliver high-quality care to residents, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Must have CPR or BLS certification.
• Intermediate computer skills; ability to navigate EHR software.
• MDS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process per state and federal requirements and facility policies.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and support to residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with the care team.

Education

Registered Nurse license (RN)

CPR/BLS certification

MDS experience preferred
