$5000 SIGN ON BONUS for Full Time

Position:

RN or LPN - MDS / Restorative

Pay range:

$21.50 - $36 / hour Depending On Experience and whether you are LPN or RN

Job Summary:

Don't miss this great opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at NHC Lewisburg as MDS / Restorative Nurse. This RN or LPN will oversee the center’s Resident Assessment Instrument process, ensuring timely and accurate assessments according to CMS and OBRA guidelines. Through leadership and professionalism, you will represent the center positively within the medical community and the community at large.

Position Highlights:

1. Conduct and document accurate assessments of patients.
2. Interview patients and families to gather comprehensive psychosocial and medical information.
3. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of the MDS.
4. Maintain organizational skills to schedule and meet deadlines.
5. Monitor medical records to support accurate MDS coding.
6. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of Resident Assessment Protocols and Patient Care Plans.
7. Support documentation accuracy through ongoing training for center staff.
8. Communicate effectively with the bookkeeping department.

Experience and Requirements:

• Must hold Tennessee RN or LPN license.
• Experience with MDS preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the Restorative Nursing Manual, programs, and NHC philosophy.
• Ability to implement a Restorative Nursing Program to help patients reach their maximum potential, in accordance with regulations.
