$5000 SIGN ON BONUS for Full Time

Position: RN or LPN - MDS / Restorative

Pay range: $21.50 - $36 / hour Depending On Experience and whether you are LPN or RN

Don't miss this great opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at NHC Lewisburg as MDS / Restorative Nurse. This RN or LPN will provide consistent application and oversight of the center’s Resident Assessment Instrument process, ensuring timely and accurate assessments according to CMS and OBRA guidelines. Through leadership and demeanor, this role represents the center positively within the medical community and the community at large.

Position Highlights:

• Ability to conduct and document accurate assessments of patients
• Ability to interview patients and families to ensure an accurate understanding of the patient’s psychosocial/medical status
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accurate and timely completion of the MDS
• Organizational skills, ability to schedule and meet deadlines
• Monitor the medical record to validate support of MDS coding
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely completion of Resident assessment Protocols and Patient Care Plans
• Support the accuracy of medical record documentation through ongoing in-services to center staff
• Communicate with the bookkeeping department

Experience/Requirements:

• Must have Tennessee RN or LPN license
• MDS experience preferred
• Thorough understanding of the Restorative Nursing Manual, its programs, and NHC philosophy
• Ability to implement a Restorative Nursing Program to help patients reach their maximum level of functioning in accordance with NHC procedures, State, and Federal Regulations
