Harris Hill is hiring a FT Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (MDS) to manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents and ensure proper reimbursement for nursing services. Responsibilities include scheduling MDS assessments, submitting OBRA/OSRA items, and maximizing RUG accuracy.

The role requires an RN license in the relevant state and background in long-term care, with knowledge of MDS, case management, and reimbursement processes. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure in the employment state.
• Experience in long-term care nursing and reimbursement processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MDS terminology, reference dates, and case-mix scoring required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments and timely submissions.
• Perform concurrent MDS reviews to optimize RUGs category and reimbursement.
• Communicate case-mix data to the Business Office for billing needs.
• Serve as facility resource for MDS/RUGs and educate staff on terminology.
