Job summary

Harris Hill is hiring a FT Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (MDS). The RN will manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided in our nursing center in Concord, NH.

Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments, submitting OBRA/OSRA on time, and performing concurrent MDS reviews to optimize RUGs while communicating case-mix data to the Business Office.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure in the state of employment.
• One year of long-term care clinical nursing experience is required.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and MDS is highly desirable.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• The MDS Nurse -- RN manages Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services.
• Maintain an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments and ensure timely submission of required assessments.
• Perform concurrent MDS review to optimize RUGs and communicate case-mix data to the Business Office.
