Job summary

Complete Care seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator PDPM Scrubber to join our corporate team in Toms River, NJ. You will review MDS assessments, ensure accuracy, and scrub classifications to maximize PDPM reimbursement across our skilled nursing facilities.

You will partner with facility MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, therapy teams, and clinical leadership to resolve documentation discrepancies and provide education on MDS accuracy and PDPM requirements.

Qualifications

• MDS experience required.
• 2–3 years hands-on MDS experience in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting.
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, PDPM, and Medicare reimbursement.
• Ability to maximize PDPM reimbursement through accurate documentation.
• On-site work at Complete Care corporate office in Toms River, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Review MDS assessments and supporting clinical documentation for accuracy.
• Scrub MDS assessments to identify missed diagnoses and documentation opportunities impacting PDPM.
• Analyze PDPM classifications to maximize appropriate reimbursement.
• Collaborate with facility MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, therapy teams, and clinical leadership.
• Provide education on MDS accuracy, PDPM, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct ongoing reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist with audits and ensure MDS processes align with CMS, RAI, and regulatory requirements.
