Adept of Omaha is seeking an organized MDS Director (RN or LPN) to lead the MDS assessment process and utilization management, ensuring accurate documentation and strong resident care in Omaha, Nebraska.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans, monitor resident status, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold Nebraska RN or LPN license and be eligible to practice.
• Strong knowledge of MDS processes and regulations.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the MDS assessment process for accurate documentation and timely completion.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Review nursing documentation to ensure adherence to plans.
• Monitor resident status and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Ensure MDS documents meet regulatory and audit requirements.
• Conduct documentation audits and address identified concerns.
• Assist with discharge planning and related documentation.
• Complete required forms, reports, and administrative tasks.
• Protect resident confidentiality and rights.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Respond to call lights and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
