Job summary

Mayfield Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Reimbursment Specialist. The role focuses on coordinating the RAI process to assure the timeliness and completeness of MDS, CAA's, and the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.

Responsibilities include accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments under the RAC structure, with oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services and reimbursement in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid LPN or RN license in Ohio.
• 3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred.
• 1-2 years MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MDS/RAI process to ensure timely and complete assessments and care planning, with oversight of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.

Responsibilities:

• MDS Nurse RAC (Resident Assessment Coordinator) reports to the Administrator and is responsible for accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. Provides Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services are provided and appropriate reimbursement is received for each resident which will include compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN or LPN
• Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio
• 3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred
• 1-2 years MDS experience perfered
