Job summary

Mayfield Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Reimbursment Specialist to coordinate the MDS/RAI process and ensure timely, complete assessments.

The RN or LPN must be licensed in Ohio, with 3 years in long-term care and MDS/RAI exposure preferred. A $3000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in Ohio.
• 3 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred.
• 1-2 years MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the MDS assessments and RAI process for timeliness and completeness.
• Oversee Medicare/Medicaid/case mix to ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with regulations.

Mayfield Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Reimbursment Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the RAI process assuring the timeliness, and completeness of the MDS, CAA's, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan.

Responsibilities:

• MDS Nurse RAC (Resident Assessment Coordinator) reports to the Administrator and is responsible for accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordination of the RAI process. Provides Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services are provided and appropriate reimbursement is received for each resident which will include compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN or LPN
• Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio
• 3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred
• Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred
• 1-2 years MDS experience perfered
