Job summary

Vantage Care Management is seeking an RN/LPN to join our New Bedford facility as an MDS Coordinator / Clinical Reimbursement specialist. You will oversee Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents, ensure accurate MDS submissions, and work with staff to optimize reimbursement while maintaining compliant documentation.

The role requires long-term care nursing experience, MDS/HIPPS knowledge, and current BLS/CPR certification. Excellent collaboration with Business Office and clinical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN or LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of long-term care clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and MDS completion.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage MDS assessments schedule and submissions.
• Perform concurrent MDS reviews to optimize HIPPS.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure complete MDS documentation.
• Communicate case-mix data to the Business Office.
• Provide MDS/HIPPS education to staff.
• Develop accurate resident care plans to support care and reimbursement.
