Job summary

Regents Park at Aventura, a premier healthcare organization in Miami, Florida, is seeking a skilled MDS Coordinator to join our care team and ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Must hold an RN license in Florida with a nursing degree, and have at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility. You will collaborate with medical staff and participate in ongoing education to support residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must possess a current unencumbered RN license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel and other department directors.
• Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Maintains a liaison with residents and their families to adequately plan for residents’ needs.
• Attends and participates in continuing education programs.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
