Job summary

Medicalodges is seeking a Charge Nurse, MDS, to coordinate the interdisciplinary team and guide resident assessments in line with RAI and regulatory requirements.

You will lead the MDS and Care Plan process, ensure timely submissions, and monitor care plans for residents, leveraging state and federal guidelines while maintaining high standards of communication and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an LPN or RN.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make sound nursing decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents to complete MDS and coordinate MDS/Care Plan team.
• Implement and monitor individual care plans based on MDS guidelines.
• Maintain schedule of due dates for MDS and care plans.
• Submit the MDS to the appropriate agency.
