Overview

The ideal MDS Candidate is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working bedside with residents and families. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care is essential.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Gather information to complete the MDS using medical records, bedside assessments, and interviews.
• Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and monthly reviews to ensure compliance with billing requirements. Review and update the Plan of Care quarterly and with each comprehensive assessment.
• Educate interdisciplinary team members about the RAI process, including updates and changes.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Registered Nurse license in current state.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care.
• At least one year of MDS experience.
