Job summary

Canton Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an MDS Coordinator to oversee MDS assessments and ensure CMS compliance, while collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Georgia).
• Prior MDS/RAI experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines and care planning.
• Long term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all MDS assessments in accordance with CMS and LTCI guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and department heads to ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Prepare and analyze Quality Measure/Quality Indicator (QM/QI) data for performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all RAI and MDS procedures and submission deadlines.
