This role oversees MDS assessments, care-plan coordination, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration to maintain high‑quality resident care and audit readiness.

Requires Texas RN or LVN license, 2+ years in long‑term care, HHSC RUG Completion, and AANAC RAI Certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN or LVN license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care.
• HHSC RUG Online Training certificate.
• AANAC RAI Certification within 1 year of employment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MDS timelines and regulatory compliance.
• Audit clinical records and educate staff on documentation guidelines.
• Coordinate weekly reimbursement meetings with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate reimbursements.
• Ensure readiness for Medicare/Medicaid audits and reporting.
