Job summary

SecureSky, Inc. in Omaha, NE, is seeking an experienced MDR Operations Manager to lead the MDR Operations team and own client relationships. This role supervises Cybersecurity Specialists who monitor, triage, detect, and respond to threats for SecureSky's clients, coordinating with Consulting and Client Engagement Teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, prior third-party cybersecurity service experience, and proven supervisory and communication skills for high-severity incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in client-facing cybersecurity services with ownership of client relationships.
• Proven supervisory experience across shift-based operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication during high-severity incident escalations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDR Operations team, supervising Cybersecurity Specialists.
• Own client relationships and conduct recurring service reviews.
• Lead communications during high-severity incidents and escalations.
• Refine MDR service methodologies, escalation workflows, and processes.
• Oversee staff onboarding and ongoing training programs.
• Prepare threat landscape analyses and threat intelligence content.
• Coordinate with peers to create and optimize technical resources (Sentinel rules, dashboards, SOAR, policy guidelines).
