Job summary

Beazley Security is building an MDR Operations team in West Hartford, CT, delivering a Managed AI Detection and Response service. You’ll deploy and tune agentic AI platforms, develop enforcement policies, and enable analysts with scalable automation.

You’ll collaborate with MDR analysts, Product, and Engineering to shape coverage, routing, and reporting, while applying AI risk frameworks and ensuring rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, including engineering/detection/automation roles.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, AI agents, and extensions; understanding risks.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python or PowerShell) and REST APIs/webhooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for analysts and clients.
• Experience mentoring, training, or reviewing work of analysts or junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Platform Deployment & Management: deploy and maintain AI security platforms across endpoints and servers.
• Manage endpoint enforcement actions with per-client pre‑authorization and exclusion lists.
• Monitor platform health, delivery, and enforcement lifecycle to ensure coverage.
• AI Policy & Configuration Engineering: translate policies into enforceable platform configurations.
• Build standard enforcement baselines by client segment and maintain baselines.
• Tune deployments and environment suppressions as usage patterns evolve.
• Keep policy changes documented and easy to understand.
• Detection, Response, and Automation: tune detection and routing logic for alerts and reporting.
• Use Python and agentic tools to automate onboarding, policy deployment, enrichment, and reporting.
• Serve as MDR SME on AI risk, tooling, and platform stack.
• Maintain runbooks, guidance, and training materials for analysts.
• Review escalations to identify improvements and training needs.
• Track AI threat landscape and map to MITRE/OWASP frameworks; inform service capabilities.
• Collaborate with MDR leadership and Product Engineering on roadmap.
