Job summary

Green Acres Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated MDO Program Support person to partner with the MDO Director and assist in delivering a faith-centered program for children. You will help with daily operations, communications with parents, and staff development, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role may require a flexible schedule for Wednesday evenings and Sunday services, with CPR/First Aid certification as part of ongoing staff readiness.

• Understand the mission and vision and how this ministry can work with the Church body to fulfill this vision.
• Ability to listen effectively and to communicate clearly to children and their parents/caregivers.
• Strong people skills and ability to interact with families and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• High commitment to moral and ethical standards.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside MDO Director and staff to support all needs of the program.
• Maintain good communication with other areas of the church.
• May work a flex schedule including Wednesday night and Sunday services, plus special events.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing children, personnel, property, and insurance liability.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Develop positive communication with parents and address concerns.
• Observe and support teachers, train staff, and ensure curriculum implementation.
• Respond to enrollment inquiries and provide program information.
• Maintain safe facilities and coordinate repairs with the Director.
