Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an MDM/RDM Data Steward & Business Analyst to gather requirements, steward master data, and monitor data quality across US, UK, EU, and Canada for P&C operations. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role with MGAs and internal teams.

You will translate business needs into data standards, own reference/master governance, review data quality dashboards, and drive governance reports while engaging stakeholders to improve data accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the insurance industry, preferably P&C.
• Knowledge of bordereaux (BDX) data structures and MGA model.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in UK/US/Canada.
• Understanding of MDM and RDM concepts: master records and entity resolution.
• Ability to write and run SQL to investigate data quality and governance metrics.
• Experience with data quality or MDM tooling and reading data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and ops.
• Define data standards, attribute definitions, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain requirements registers and traceability from needs to rules.
• Own the governance queue and manage master/reference data records.
• Coordinate UAT for new MDM/RDM features and monitor dashboards.
