Job summary

Hope For Youth, Inc. is seeking a compassionate MDFT Therapist for the Juvenile Justice Services Program in Amityville, NY. The role entails a 35-hour workweek, full-time hours, and a flexible/hybrid schedule to support up to 40 referred youths annually.

You will provide MDFT-based therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to reduce behavioral challenges and substance use, while completing accurate documentation and pursuing MDFT certifications.

Qualifications

• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with children/adolescents.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and MS Office.
• Physical requirements: read/write reports and clients' records.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of up to 10 clients with MDFT therapy.
• Developing clinical treatment plans from assessments and intakes.
• Delivering individual and family MDFT sessions.
• Providing trauma-informed care in homes, community, and office.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
• Completing timely case documentation and EMR entries.
• Engaging in MDFT and related evidence-based trainings.
