Hope For Youth, Inc. in Amityville, NY is seeking a compassionate MDFT Therapist to join the Juvenile Justice Services Program. The role carries a caseload of up to 10 clients and uses the SAMHSA‑approved MDFT model to address substance use, behavior, and family dynamics.

You will work in a flexible, hybrid schedule with a 35-hour workweek, require LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT, and bilingual English/Spanish. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience with children/adolescents and a NYS Driver's

Qualifications

• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical treatment plans based on assessments and intakes.
• Provide individual and family therapy using the MDFT model.
• Deliver trauma‑informed care in homes, community, and office settings.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
• Attend required MDFT training and professional development.
• Complete case documentation and EMR entries accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties to meet client, agency, and regulatory requirements.
