Job summary

MdeAS Architects in New York, NY is seeking a Junior Designer to join our design-focused team. A NAAB-accredited architecture degree is preferred and 0–3 years postgraduate experience is expected.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Enscape/VRay, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office is required. Responsibilities include producing 2D drawings and 3D models, creating client presentation materials, researching project precedents, and visiting sites to record existing conditions.

Qualifications

  • NAAB accredited Architecture Degree, or higher.
  • 0-3 years postgraduate experience in an architectural setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling and rendering software (Rhino, Enscape VRay), Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the design team in internal meetings and conversations.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to efficiently prepare digital renderings and construction documents.
  • High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Compensation

This is a full-time position, and the salary will be commensurate with experience. The starting salary is $66,300. A competitive benefits package includes paid time off, student loan repayment, insurance, fitness & commuter assistance, 401K & many more.
