Job summary

We’re seeking an Architectural Designer at the junior to intermediate level to join our team.

Responsibilities

• The role will focus on supporting the design development, documentation, coordination and construction of a new, ground-up single family residential project.
• The ideal candidate possesses a strong design sensibility, a deep interest in material craftsmanship, baseline technical understanding of building assemblies.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: B.Arch
• 1‑5 years of post graduate work experience
• Motivated, curious and proactive with strong design skills
• Organized, collaborative, and a reliable team player and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to maintain and develop precise 3D digital models and 2D drawing sets
• Excellent verbal, written, visual communication skills
• Consultant Coordination
• Experience with Construction Documents
• High craft and physical model making abilities and hand sketching abilities
• Keen interest in working with creative private residential projects
• Legal work status in the US

Our studio operates in a hybrid work schedule: Primarily in person at the Brooklyn office alongside other team members, with remote working days aligned to individual schedule and project needs.

Start date: Immediate

Compensation: $68,000 - $96,000 or $32/hr to $46/hr commensurate with previous professional experience
