The Applied Research Scientist II's principle activity is research and related support activities for the faculty investigator, including presentation at scientific meetings and production of scientific manuscripts.The Applied Research Scientist II is expected to operate at a higher level of complexity and independence than an Applied Research Scientist I. The Applied Research Scientist II is expected to take the initiative on first drafts of protocols and manuscripts under supervision of the PI.
