Job description

The MCS Supply Chain Associate role supports the ATO31 Distribution/Dispensing teams in processing materials for the shipping and production of biopharmaceutical products. This role requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and involves activities related to material handling, picking, dispensing, and supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be flexible with shift scheduling and physical tasks. While GMP/GDP experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, and a willingness to learn is essential.


Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling & Dispensing: Perform material handling, dispensing, and staging materials for transport and delivery within a warehouse or cleanroom environment.
  • cGMP Compliance: Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies to ensure compliance with cGMPs.
  • Work in Classified Dispensary: Gown to grade 8-9 and work in a classified dispensary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to complete operational activities related to the shipping and dispensing of materials.
  • Risk Identification & Resolution: Support the identification of escalating risks and potential issues related to shipping/dispensing activities, providing solutions to management as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement & Safety: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs, helping to identify areas for process optimization.
  • Regulatory Support: Provide support during regulatory inspections and assist with documentation required for audits.
  • Material Tracking: Maintain the Kanban system for consumables and support the tracking of materials and shipments.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Assist in gathering operational metrics, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
  • External Warehouse Support: Collaborate with external warehouse teams and perform tasks as needed to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including day, swing, weekends, and holidays as needed based on production requirements.
  • Ability to work under general direction with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek assistance as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull heavy loads using material handling equipment.
  • Flexibility to support various warehouse functions, including shipment and dispensing of materials per procedural guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR
  • Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience.
  • GMP, shipping, dispensing, warehousing, manufacturing, or quality experience.
  • Familiarity with CDOCS, DQMS, QMTS, and deviation investigations, including initiating and owning minor deviations and CAPAs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Teams, Tableau, and UiPath.
