Job summary

KBR seeks a skilled Engineer Equipment Mechanic for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing diesel engines, MVAC systems, and related construction equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and road machinery.

Candidates must have a High school diploma, 6 years of related experience, and complete MVAC and Basic Engineer Program courses. Lifting up to 50 lbs and CAC access may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six years of directly related work experience.
• Complete the Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course, or equivalent.
• Complete MVAC course and hold a valid certificate.
• Must have valid state driver license and able to obtain CAC.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair MVAC systems.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Performs operator, intermediate and limited major rebuilds with spot painting.
• Provides technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower level mechanics.
