Child & Family Services, Inc. seeks an Mobile Crisis Intervention EMS Co-Response Clinician to partner with EMS and respond to behavioral health crises in the community. You will assess, de-escalate, stabilize, and plan dispositions, aiming to avoid unnecessary ED visits or law enforcement involvement.
Schedule is Monday–Friday 12PM–8PM with a $5,000 full-time sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 3 months and $2,500 at 6 months). A language differential supports multilingual communities served.
The Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) EMS Co-Response Clinician partners with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to provide behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, de-escalation, stabilization, and disposition planning for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises in the community. The clinician responds with EMS to behavioral health-related emergency calls and supports safe, clinically appropriate alternatives to emergency department use or law enforcement involvement whenever possible.
